Great truck

09/21/2023

Love this truck! There are only a few complaints about it.. The seatbelt alarm for not putting your seatbelt on is SUPER annoying and agressive. And I get less MPG than I originally expected. Other than that, I love everything about this truck. I have but about 25,000 miles on it and haven't had any issues.

Great Refresh!

09/21/2022

Overall, I think the 2022 Tundra is a sleek redesign that was much needed! The truck rides smooth thanks to the coil spring suspension and it is a great daily driver. I knock a star off because although the twin turbo 3.5 L V6 has more power than the tried and true 5.7 V7 on paper.. it's not really that noticeable when driving. That would be okay.... if I were getting good gas mileage. However, I don't see the dividends at the gas pump. At best, on the Highway I will see 19/20 MPG. City however, is more like 14/15. I don't expect great gas mileage out of a full size pickup. But, I'd prefer to get 1-3 less MPG for a tested dependable engine that has some grit.

Beautiful

02/10/2024

This truck road trips and tows phenomenal. Gas mileage is Improved over the previous generation especially while towing. The power is Improved and very noticeable while towing. There have been a couple of hiccups the worst of which was a roof mounding coming loose and the dealer telling me they couldn't fix it, the foam tape let go. I took it to a body shop and they used some kind of special epoxy no more problems. The plastic trim for the seat track won't stay on. Probably kicked it with my heal. The power knee bolster got stuck but after fiddling with it it freed its self, I extended it to its maximum position, haven't done that since and no more problems. This truck is a true evolution. I love this truck for different reasons over the previous generation. I love the previous generation also. I think if you decide to trade your previous generation to this one you to will both love the 3rd gen and miss your 2nd gen because they are so different. I still have my old 2010 Rock Warrior so if I need a good driving experience fix I just jump in it lol.
